Teaching Others to be Teachers

Faith Garden’s primary mission is to help people grow in the Word of God to the point where they no longer need to rely on any man, but be sufficient by the anointing they have received, which is the teaching of the Spirit of Christ (1 John 2:27).  We are helping to bring the Church past the elementary doctrines of Christ, to mature it past the parental guardian of the Law (Galatians 4), and move it into Spiritual Maturity, by sharing the meat of the Word of God, and provoking each other to walk in the Spirit of Christ. Ultimately leading the Church into a pure speech of one accord. (Zeph 3:9).

In nature, a mother bird regurgitates pre-digested food into the mouths of it’s children to nourish them. Similarly, teachers nourish young believers by delivering them the understanding of the Word, without the young believer needing to do much chewing. Both the fledglings and young believers are too immature to seek food on their own, so they are aided by the help of elders (Heb 5:12).

Unlike the fledging birds in nature, pastors and teachers (Jer 5:27) involved in the “clergy and laity” and ” pulpit and pews” based church-system keep the babes in Christ in a perpetual state of infancy, by not teaching their congregants to be teachers, which is to not guide them out of the nest. Unfortunately this leads the babes in Christ to grow reliant on the pastor/teacher for food and nourishment their whole lives (Isa 28:8). By these practices alone we can discern that these teachers are usurping Christ the Chief Shepherd. They put themselves as the sole teachers of the Body, instead of all being taught by the Spirit of Christ, sharing the revelation they have received from Him.

Faith Garden is a place with no walls and no building (Micah 4:4), but solely the body of Christ, which is the Church. Our goal is to return the Church back to the mentality of gathering as a family by not exalting any part of the Body, and seeking God and his Word for ourselves (John 4:42).
